"Imaginary Landscapes"

featuring Chris Tutton & Anne Denholm

Monday 9 May at 2:30pm (doors open 2pm)

Poetry and Harp perfectly combine in a unique teatime special providing an exquisite fusion of words and music.

Chris Tutton is the popular, award-winning and idiosyncratic author of seven collections of poetry, known for his offbeat humour and extraordinary wordscapes. Ned Sherrin described him as ‘the master of the short poem’ and the Sunday Times praised his work for its beauty as well as admiring its ‘dramatic passion and dignity.’ The Failing of Angels, his astonishing debut novel, was published in 2020.

For her part, Anne Denholm is one of the leading British harpists of her generation who has earned a strong reputation for her engaging and powerful performances across a variety of musical fields. She served as Official Harpist to HRH The Prince of Wales from 2015-2019 and in 2020 was elected an Associate of the Royal Academy of Music.

Together Poet and Harpist create a magical pairing, one which will transport the audience into a world of fabulous fantasy far beyond the limits of an afternoon in Wedmore!
